The dusting process still gives the highest quality of any metallic printing and there is a continuous trend to use it. Its excellent brilliance makes it especially suitable for the highest quality labels and packaging.

New faster running machinery and stricter environmental controls require products with narrower specification tolerances and cleaner working in the pressroom. Due to new production techniques it is possible to meet these challenges with DORADO® bronze or pearlescent pigments.

RHEINGOLD® dusting size is the base product in the dusting process with gold bronze and pearlescent pigments to produce brilliant effects. Optimisation of adhesion, through drying, printability and sheet cleaning are key factors to the success of this range of products.
