Plasters/mortar

A special field of application for aluminium powders is their use in plaster and dry mortar formulations. They can be used to positively influence water retention capacity and the amount of shrinkage.

The advantages are:

• minimisation of crack formation in plasters
• improved yield
• smooth machine running

In addition to special types of aluminium powder, mixtures of these powders with limestone powder as well as combinations with property-improving additives are also used.
